Acceptable Use

Last updated: 2 October 2026. These rules apply to every photo you upload, every edit you type and every order you place.

Only upload photos you're allowed to use

•  You must be 18 or older and own the photo or have permission to use it.

•  Every adult in the photo must have agreed to it. Photos of children only if you're their parent or legal guardian.

•  No photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures, and no photos taken from someone else's social media or website without permission.

Don't ask for harmful content

•  No nudity or sexual content, and nothing that sexualizes children in any way.

•  No hateful, harassing, violent or threatening imagery.

•  Nothing meant to deceive, such as fake documents, fake evidence or portraits that pass off a real person as doing something they didn't do.

•  No official military emblems, seals or insignia, and no other people's logos, trademarks or copyrighted characters. Uniforms themselves are fine.

Don't misuse the service

•  Don't try to get around the free preview limit (7 per 24 hours), the watermark, or the payment step.

•  No bots, scraping, or automated or bulk use of the site.

•  Don't try to access other people's portraits or orders, or interfere with the site's security.

What we do

Edit instructions are checked automatically for harmful content, and the image model has its own safety systems, so some requests are refused. We can refuse or cancel requests and orders that break these rules, delete the content, and block access. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.

To report misuse or content that shows you without permission, email support@canvasofyou.com.
