Last updated: 2 October 2026. CanvasOfYou (canvasofyou.com) is operated by App Agentic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16428873). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Acceptable Use rules, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

Who can use CanvasOfYou

You must be 18 or older. You must own the photos you upload or have permission to use them, and permission from every adult shown in them. For photos of children, you must be their parent or legal guardian.

How it works

You upload a photo, choose a style, and we create a free, watermarked preview using AI (OpenAI's image models). Free previews are limited (currently 7 per 24 hours). You can retry or edit a preview before you buy. AI results vary: the portrait is an artistic interpretation, likeness isn't guaranteed, and the AI can make mistakes. Please check your preview carefully before ordering, because what you buy is the portrait you see.

Your photos and your portrait

You keep all rights in your photos. You give us permission to store and process them only to create, show, deliver and print your portraits, and to support your order. We never use them in ads or examples without asking you.

Once your order is paid, you may use the portrait for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, and we won't sell or license your portrait to anyone else. Because AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in every country, we can't promise that you can stop others from copying it.

Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay; sales tax may be added at checkout where it applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf. Physical orders ship to the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia only and are printed by our production partner (Printful). Shipping times are estimates. Colors can look slightly different on a printed canvas or paper than on a screen.

Every physical order includes the digital download. Digital downloads are available as soon as payment is confirmed.

After buying a digital download you may be offered $29 off a canvas for a limited time. If you saved your card during that purchase, you can buy it in one click: we show you the price and the card before we charge it.

Portrait Plan membership

The Portrait Plan comes three ways. Monthly costs $9.99 for your first 30 days, then $19.99 every 30 days until you cancel, and includes 15 new portraits each 30-day period (unused portraits don't carry over). Passes are paid once and never renew: the 3-month pass costs $44.95 for 60 new portraits used within 90 days, and the 12-month pass $99 for 300 new portraits used within 365 days. Every plan includes downloads of your portraits without a watermark and member prices on canvases and prints. For monthly, the price and next renewal date are shown before you pay, and it renews automatically using the payment method you paid with.

You can cancel at any time in one click from your order page (or by emailing us). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

Refunds and damaged orders

Our 14-day money-back guarantee and "All Orders Insured" promise are described in the Refund Policy.

Things you must not do

Follow the Acceptable Use rules. We can refuse, stop or cancel any request or order that breaks them (with a refund of any payment for work we don't deliver), and block access to the site.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the site and the AI previews "as is" and can't promise they'll always be available or error free. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but if you're a consumer you keep the protections of the law where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
