Watercolor Portrait

A delicate watercolor portrait with soft washes, gentle blooms of color and bleeding edges. White paper shows through, with a fine pencil drawing visible underneath the paint.

Best for a light, understated gift for anyone.

The example above was painted from a made-up photo. Yours is painted from your own.

What photo works best?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo where the face is large and looking roughly toward the camera. Phone photos are fine; avoid heavy filters, sunglasses and group shots cropped very small.
