Captain of the Seas Portrait

A classic maritime oil painting as a ship's captain in a navy peacoat and plain cap. A stormy sea and a tall ship sit behind for a windswept, heroic look.

Best for a sailor, boater or ocean lover.

The example above was painted from a made-up photo. Yours is painted from your own.

What photo works best?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo where the face is large and looking roughly toward the camera. Phone photos are fine; avoid heavy filters, sunglasses and group shots cropped very small.
